  • What do I need to bring for the first session?
Before we can get you on a consistent schedule, we must perform an evaluation and bill that to your insurance. On that day, we recommend you bring: a drivers license, your insurance cards, familiar toys/items for your child, and a list of questions/areas of concern to bring to the therapist.
  • What can I expect from an evaluation?
An evaluation may range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. During this time, a therapist will perform an evaluation to obtain an overall picture of your child's current level of development. This may include: Developmental "tests" demonstrated by your child, a questionnaire for the parent/caregiver, and an observation of your child in a realistic environment.
  • Will the therapist who evaluates my child, also be the one to treat my child?
Although we will try our best to fit you with a therapist of your choice, in some cases this is not feasible. Our therapists caseloads build rapidly and in order to provide you and your child with the best care possible, they may be placed with another therapist.
