Meet Alexis! Alexis is an Occupational Therapy Assistant who graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in December 2022. Her extensive background in pediatrics came from her experience as a 5-year career nanny with children ages 3 months-7 years old. Although she loves all things OT related, her true passion lies within Developmental Delays and Feeding Deficits.

She founded MayBee Therapy based on her own lived experience as a new grad COTA trying to find what fulfilled her passion. Based on the lack of jobs, Alexis decided it was time to stop working for others, and put her true passion and care into action.

When Alexis isn't working you will find her lounging at home with her fiance and 2 pups- Asher and Oakley, watching reality TV, hiking in the mountains, watching sports games (Go Ravens!) or completing some type of house project.
